Last week we also created a combination of object and drawing animation. The idea was to
step by step draw a light bulb  ( drawing animation ) and then "pull" or make it look like we were pulling or taking a real light bulb out from the picture. It was hard to keep the camera and paper I was drawing on in the same place so I put my phone at the end of a table to keep the camera in the same place and had it facing down on a chair. On the chair I taped the paper I was using to draw the light-bulb. I taped the paper down because if not each time I drew something the paper would shift and the outcome of the video would be sloppy. Below is the actual video of the Stop Motion Animation video.

  1. I really like the work you have done so far! The music goes really well with the theme of the animations. I see that you having trouble with keeping the and props still. Maybe you could use some camera stands and some other things to keep the items in place? Also, you can always ask people in our class to help you for a little bit, (like we did with that chair animation) anybody would take a few moments to lend a hand!

  2. Great job on this animation! I think it's really cool that you can get music into the videos. I think that if you could also incorporate your own sound effects that would be really interesting. As of now I don't have any apps for suggestion, but I think that the more examples you watch of stop motion animation, the more ideas you may gather. I also suggest trying to make your videos longer and maybe incorporate a plot into them.

  3. I think all your videos are really interesting so far! I like how you tell what the struggles were and how you fixed the problem you were facing. One thing you can try talking about is maybe what apps you use and if you use different apps for different animations. I really like this so far!!
